Food review: Chickpeas & chorizo

Chickpeas & chorizo… sounds simple… maybe a bit bland…. WRONG! The name is just two of the ingredients that goes into this deliciously filling tapa! First, we start with the veg. onions and garlic chopped and lightly fried. Cooking tip: this meal is best cooked at a low heat; so, things don’t burn & to allow all the flavours to release. Next is something that is not well known but is a vital component. We’re talking sobresada. By sight it looks like chorizo but do not ge...

Food review: Chicken & chorizo pinchitos

Pinchitos… there’s something about skewered meat that we love! And the pinchitos in question today are chicken and chorizo iberico. First, and crucially we need to marinade the chicken. The marinade can make or break the whole tapa, therefore it's crucial that we take time to prepare & to have the best quality products available. Our homemade marinade consists of: Extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder and spicy pimenton. We made sure to use plenty, so the meat would be soa...

So we came up with a plan, bring you the finest wine for your glass & the best cuisine for your pan. Online & markets were the start, bring you food that will really touch your heart. But the beginning was less than fast, a learning pro...

We haven’t got a full meal, we have tapas; a great little starter to nibble before dinner. The tapas in question here are fried olives & chili + garlic mushrooms. 2...

The spicy chorizo starts delicate and succulent, but has a hit of the spicy paprika that so many of us love.
